About imoves

Meet our founder - Imogen Buxton-Pickles

Imogen’s career has been dedicated to integrating fitness, dance, and wellbeing into education. With a BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Science and a Level 5 OCR Teaching Certificate, she has cultivated a deep understanding of how physical activity supports overall wellbeing.

As a former YMCA FIT tutor and course director, Imogen earned and then taught multiple qualifications, including the Advanced Personal Trainer suite of certificates, the Advanced Nutrition and the Children's Fitness and Exercise Modules.

Recognising the importance of activity and high quality PE in schools Imogen launched

imoves.com in April 2010 providing teachers with online resources to incorporate movement into their classrooms and throughout the school day. Alongside this is an award winning whole school PE, Dance and Gymnastics programme, the imoves Active Schools Framework, and Mental Wellbeing materials, giving educators the tools to create engaging and supportive learning environments.

Through Imogen’s platform, teachers around the world can confidently promote physical and mental wellbeing in their students, even without being experts themselves.

How much will the Active 30 Bundle cost us after the free trial?

We’ve made sure our Active 30 Bundle is affordable for big and small schools alike, saving you £499 by taking advantage of the bundle offer! Starting at £247 +VAT for infant school, £277 +VAT for junior school and £397 +VAT for primary school. Plus, you get access to our full Mental Wellbeing programme worth an additional £499 +VAT.

Who gets access to the subscription?

We believe your whole school should benefit from active learning, which is why your subscription is available to your entire school, not just one teacher or a single classroom. Whether it’s just the Active 30 Bundle or our other programmes, your whole school can get moving.

Is this programme suitable for children of all ages?

It is! This programme has videos and lessons designed for a variety of age groups and learning stages, so you can always be sure you’re providing easy-to-understand, fun activities for your students.

What does the Active 30 Bundle cover?

With this programme, you get access to it all - subject-specific active lessons, active blasts for brain breaks, break time, lining up and corridor activities. Everything you need to integrate activity into your school in a purposeful, exciting way.

How does the Active 30 Bundle programme work?

With plug-and-play style videos for every situation and lesson, you can simply log in, choose your video and let the children follow along! Most lessons have minimal or no prep, and videos are self-guided, so all you need to do is be there for your students as they learn to love movement!

Can I have help to get set up?

You can! In fact, we provide a 1 to 1 call with one of our team to help you get set up initially and answer your questions about using the programme. And you can get in touch any time you have a query in future. You’re never alone in your teaching journey with imoves.

If I have no active teaching or PE training, can I still use these?

This programme was created for teachers with zero active learning experience as well as those with training in physical education - it has everything you need to teach active learning without prior experience! Whether you’re a seasoned teacher or you’re new to your field, our resources are made to support teachers at all levels.

How long is the free trial?

No credit card is required when you sign up for the free trial. You get 28 days of free access to roam the entire site, with a range of programmes to sample. After 28 days, you can decide whether to upgrade.

What if we don’t like the programme?

If, for any reason, you don’t think the Active 30 Bundle will work for your school, simply don’t upgrade to the annual subscription at the end of your free trial. It’s that easy, no quibbles, no obligations. But please get in touch with us if you have any concerns or difficulty, as we’re always here to help you navigate and get to know your imoves subscription.

What equipment & space will we need to use for the programme?
